Sami Callihan Calls Out Eric Young

Having been released by the WWE during Black Wednesday, Eric Young is a free agent who should have his pick of places to work.

Criminally underused by the company, it is only a matter of time before someone snaps him up and if Sami Callihan has anything to say about it, we’ll be seeing EY back in Impact Wrestling.

During an interview with WrestleTalk, Callihan revealed how he was supposed to lead Sanity and how booking him in a program with Young, considering his history with TNA/Impact, is the logical way to go;

Eric Young pretty much embodied what Impact Wrestling was from the golden days and I think that is a match that the entire wrestling world wants to see. I’ve heard it for years because I was supposed to be the leader of Sanity until I went off on my own and he stepped in and became the leader of Sanity. I think that match, me vs. Eric Young, we both use the same finishing move, we’re both very similar wrestlers. I think that match could do a lot for Impact Wrestling.”

Well, he’s doubled down on this and used Twitter to call out his rival;

Strangely, Young initially replied, saying he feared no-one, but that tweet has since been deleted, possibly due to the spelling in his own name, but whatever the reason, if these two do end up working together, I think Impact might find it’s way back into my weekly watch.
