WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 Predictions

WWE Elimination Chamber is two days away and as always, we here at Sports Obsessive have gotten five of our greatest minds to bring you their predictions for the WWE Super Blood Money PPV…er…sorry, I meant the WWE Elimination Chamber PPV. So let’s get into it shall we and see who’s going to win what at this year’s WWE Elimination Chamber.

WWE Elimination Chamber graphic for the show

WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Austin Theory vs. Riddle vs. Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles

Andrew Grevas: I don’t like the booking here at all. Brock should not be in this Chamber & definitely shouldn’t win the title, setting up a Champion vs Champion match at WrestleMania. So of course that’s what they’ll do. In a more sane world, this match would be a vehicle to make Riddle a main event star and Lashley would leave as champ but let’s face it, WWE is putting the title on Brock.
Prediction: Brock Lesnar

Jeremy Thomas: Rumor has it that Lesnar and Paul Heyman have been pushing for a title vs. title match at WrestleMania against Roman Reigns. Lesnar has been hinting at it in his promos as well. I think that Brock gets what Brock wants.
Prediction: Brock Lesnar

Jon Shartzer: Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Austin Theory vs. Riddle vs. Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles The more that I think about it, the more that I feel like we’re actually getting a Title-vs-Title match as Mania. I hope that I’m wrong and we get swerved in this match. My heart says AJ, but my head says Brock Lesnar. I’m rolling with the Beast Incarnate.
Prediction: Brock Lesnar

Joel Kananen: Really great match potential with the talent inside the ring, but will it matter? Any choice besides Brock Lesnar would be more exciting here, but it really seems like that is the direction WWE is taking. Title for title match here we come!
Prediction: Brock Lesnar

Katrina Blake: Hmm. I honestly could see this going a few ways. Brock can get it back. I can see Seth taking it or even AJ Styles. So. I’m going with Seth on this one.
Prediction: Seth Rollins

RAW Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Elimination Chamber Match: Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair vs. Doudrop vs. Nikki A.S.H. vs. Alexa Bliss

(Please Note: Some of the predictions for the WWE Elimination Chamber were sent to me before Alexa Bliss announced she was entering. If anyone cares, she’s my pick. You don’t bring her back after such a long layoff and have her not become the #1 contender – Neil)

AG: This needs to be Bianca to set up her revenge at WrestleMania against Becky. Anything else is inexcusable. Liv needs to be the fighting underdog who comes close and Rhea the monster.
Prediction: Bianca Belair

JT: Before last night I felt that Bianca Belair was a sure bet to win the title shot at WrestleMania to try to get her redemption against Becky Lynch. I still believe that she is the likely choice but I won’t be surprised to see Alexa Bliss win either.
Prediction: Bianca Belair

JS: I was really hoping that the last entrant would be either Bayley or Asuka, but I’m happy to see Alexa back in action. Initially, I couldn’t put my finger on a clear winner. But then Rhea straight dominated the gauntlet match in Raw, albeit in a losing effort to Bianca Belair. I feel like that could have been a little bit of taste of what WWE has in store for the Nightmare. Send her to Wrestlemania!
Prediction: Rhea Ripley

JK: The biggest mystery here isn’t who wins, but who TBA is. I’m really hoping is Asuka, but predicting it’s Lacey Evans. For the winner, there’s only one way to go.
Prediction: Bianca Belair

KB: I believe the mysterious opponent will either be Bayley or Asuka. So while I love Bianca in this and I want to see her get her title shot at WrestleMania, there have been some shenanigans so this is hard. With that being said. Either Bianca will win or the mysterious opponent will win.
Prediction: Bianca Belair (with a side order of Alexa Bliss)

WWE Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Goldberg

AG: Could this be Goldberg’s final WWE match? Who are we kidding, he’ll sign another contract. Anything other than a three-minute Reigns victory is just silly.
Prediction: Roman Reigns

JT: There is no chance that Goldberg wins the title here. He isn’t dropping the title until WrestleMania. I believe that Lesnar will interfere in this match to get his revenge on Reigns and deliver a beat down to the Universal Champion.
Prediction: Roman Reigns by DQ

JS: I’ve never really been a fan of Goldberg or his ability to just claim a championship match. I’m sure the Saudi’s paid big money for this but I hope it’s short and dominant for Roman Reigns. It’s time for Goldberg to spend the rest of his days fishing.
Prediction: Roman Reigns

JK: After doing as much as you or I to earn another championship shot, Goldberg is back to rock the Saudi crowd. I hope Roman beats him in 25 seconds.
Prediction: Roman Reigns

KB: Goldberg is a rant I won’t get into. If Roman is dropping the belt, it will be to someone else at a different PPV. Most likely Wrestlemania. So, my pick is Roman Reigns hands down!
Prediction: Roman Reigns

RAW Women’s Championship Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lita

AG: This should be fun. Lita can still go and Becky is at the top of her game. Becky, in a show-stealer of a match.
Prediction: Becky Lynch

JT: This will be a fun match to watch. I’m hoping that Lita still has it and that they are allowed to have a 20+ minute match. Lita will succumb after a hard-fought bout.
Prediction: Becky Lynch

JS: On the flip side of the Goldberg argument is Lita essentially pulling the same trick. But I like Lita, so I’m letting it slide. Sue me. As much as I love seeing Lita back, she’s just here for the attraction. Big Time Becks isn’t ready to drop the belt, especially to a part-timer.
Prediction: Becky Lynch

JK: After Becky’s fiery promo and Lita’s athletic showcase on RAW several weeks ago, this match has some buzz going in. Becky will do a great job to make Lita look like a star in a loss.
Prediction: Becky Lynch

KB: I’m picking with my heart here. I want Lita to win this so bad and get another title run. Even if it is brief.
Prediction: Lita

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos (c) vs. Viking Raiders

AG: The Usos win a 60-minute classic with more near falls than Flair / Steamboat. Kidding. But the champs do retain.
Prediction: The Usos

JT: It feels like WWE doesn’t care about the tag team division outside of The Usos, The New Day, and RK-Bro. The Usos are probably headed for another WrestleMania battle against The New Day.
Prediction: The Usos

JS: I would love to see the Raiders pick up the straps here. They deserve another run as champions. But it’s not going to happen at this show. The Usos will most likely retain until at least Mania. The Bloodline is still too hot right now.
Prediction: The Usos

JK: With Big E and Kofi back as a tag-team (but not with the name New Day under Vince’s head-scratching declaration), I don’t see much plunder in the Raiders’ attempt. The Usos continue their historic reign in a fun match before another feud with New Day. Sorry, not sorry McMahon.
Prediction: The Usos

KB: While, I also don’t see the Usos losing this, I do like The Viking Raiders. The Bloodline has been going strong, so I believe The Usos will retain.
Prediction: The Usos

No Disqualification Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Madcap Moss

AG: This pisses me off. Drew needs to be away from these pointless mid-card feuds today and back in the title picture. Why do I have this terrible feeling we’re getting Drew vs F*cking Happy Corbin at Mania in a booking decision that might make me cancel my Peacock subscription?
Prediction: Drew McIntyre

JT: What has poor Drew McIntyre done to deserve to be in this long dragged-out feud with Madcap Moss and his crony Happy Corbin? Hopefully, this is the end to this feud.
Prediction: Drew McIntyre

JS: Honestly, this match isn’t needed. Drew will soon be on his way back to the main event. Madcap Moss is but a small bump in the road on the way to an eventual feud with Roman Reigns. McIntyre wins, easily.
Prediction: Drew McIntyre

JK: While I think Moss is actually a solid performer, especially in the ring, this character stinks. Undefeated Happy Corbin also stinks. Drew, please metaphorically stab these gimmicks and send them to the unknown Highlander-style.
Prediction: Drew McIntyre

KB: I’m very invested in this match, as Drew has been gone for a bit and I’m a fan. With that being said, my pick is Drew to win this match.
Prediction: Drew McIntyre

Tag Match: Ronda Rousey & Naomi vs. Sonya Deville & Charlotte Flair

AG: Faces need to go over here so Flair seems to be in real danger headed into Mania. Which she is, because there’s no way Mania Night One isn’t ending with Ronda’s hand being held high.
Prediction: Ronda Rousey & Naomi

JT: There is no chance that Rousey loses in her return bout. Naomi will work the bulk of the match while enduring a beating from Flair and DeVille before tagging Rousey in for the submission win over Deville.
Prediction: Ronda Rousey & Naomi

JS: The smart money would be on a heel team victory, building more heat and intrigue on the road to Wrestlemania. However, something tells me that WWE isn’t going to throw Ronda into this match just to have her lose before getting her championship match against Charlotte Flair. That means I’m going with the babyface to walk away victorious, here.
Prediction: Ronda Rousey & Naomi

JK: A combination of two of the only even slightly interesting things happening on Smackdown could make for a good match. Naomi and Charlotte put on a banger in their championship match, and this should be a great showcase for four talented women.
Prediction: Charlotte & Sonya

KB: After all the shenanigans that Naomi had to endure with Sonya and after all her amazing moments in the main event on the last Smackdown, I’m going with Ronda and Naomi.
Prediction: Ronda Rousey & Naomi

Rey Mysterio vs. Miz

JT: Rey Mysterio is the most underrated wrestler in WWE. He continues to amaze me with his in-ring ability and skills at the age of 47. I am very happy to see Rey on the cover of the new WWE 2K22 game. A win by Mysterio would be great promotion for the game.
Prediction: Rey Mysterio

JS: I hope that this is where we finally get the Dominik heel turn. Father vs Son at Wrestlemania seems like something Vince would do and I’m here for it. The Miz is the perfect person to help move this story along. He will benefit from Mysterio shenanigans.
Prediction: The Miz

JK: This feud has been built around cheating, which means some major shenanigans are afoot. I hope Maryse superkicks Dominik in the face. Anyway, after losing to one legend in Edge, Miz gets his win over another here.
Prediction: The Miz

So, how do you think our Brain Trust did? Did they get their predictions for the WWE Elimination Chamber spot on, or are they off by a mile? Let us know in the comments.
