WWE Not Happy Snoop Is To Appear On AEW Dynamite

It was announced last night by AEW that none other than Snoop will be appearing on their Jan. 6 episode of Dynamite and the WWE are NOT happy about it.

Snoop has been stalwart of WWE programming for so long now that he’s almost part of the furniture. His appearances helped to bring a ton of mainstream media attention and he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016.

So the news that he is going to be a guest on their rival’s show has gone down as well as could be expected.

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio;

Regarding Snoop Dogg, I do know there are people in WWE very upset that Snoop is appearing on this show…he doesn’t have a contract with…and he’s part of the Turner family.

He’s the host of the show that Cody was doing, the game show. So obviously that is the tie in. It’s the same way they got Shaq.”

No matter how much the WWE act as if they don’t have any competition outside of their own brands, the noisy neighbors from Jacksonville just keep getting louder and louder and this is just another move that seems designed to piss them off.

If it wasn’t bad enough that they’ve gotten Sting out of retirement, they’re now poaching another of their Hall of Fame alumni.

My only fear is that Sasha Banks takes the brunt of Big Vinnie’s wrath just for being related to Mr. Dogg and though I’m joking here, I’m really not.

Vince has a history of punishing others for someone else’s transgressions.
