Cody and Brandi Rhodes to Depart From AEW

Former EVP Cody Rhodes and Chief Brand Officer Brani Rhodes are leaving All Elite Wrestling

Cody Rhodes and Brandi Rhodes are officially departing All Elite Wrestling. The news was announced in individual statements from Cody, Brandi, and AEW President, Tony Khan.

The now-former Executive Vice President was the first one to go to Twitter with the announcement of his moving on. Here is what Cody Rhodes had to say in his release:

Shortly after, Tony Khan released his own statement on the matter, via the official AEW Twitter account, thanking the Rhodes family for their contributions to the company and wishing them the best in their future endeavors.

Brandi Rhodes, the company’s first Chief Brand Officer, released a statement of her own departing, Tweeting out the following message:

As this is still a breaking story, I won’t speculate on what’s next for the wrestling power couple just yet, although plenty of speculation is already taking place and I’m sure there’s plenty of that to come over the next several days, weeks and possibly months ahead. Sports Obsessive will be following closely and keeping you updated the whole way.
