CM Punk Teases Possible Return

It’s the question that every wrestling fan wants an answer to. Could CM Punk ever return to a wrestling ring?

Ever since 2014 when CM Punk walked out of the WWE, the internet has been full of people discussing whether or not we’ve seen the last of him inside the squared circle. The Voice of the Voiceless has yet to commit to the idea, but he’s never flat out denied it either.

Oral Sessions Confessions

And on the latest episode of Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette, he added fuel to the fire.

Kind of.

When asked about a possible return he said:

…it would take above all an interesting scenario. A story that would be fun to tell. Also, just the stupidest amount of money. But they could save themselves a whole lot of money if they just presented a fun storyline. Now, what that is, I don’t know. I’m a pretty picky guy, especially at this point.”

He went on to add that AEW seemed more to his liking with:

…there’s more interesting people on the AEW side of things for me to wrestle, but that’s just because I’ve never wrestled them before – Young Bucks, Kenny Omega.”

Though he added that he wouldn’t be that interested in working with Jon Moxley:

…I look at that and I go, ‘Well I wrestled him already.’ So, it’s just less interesting than something new.”

He also seemed to pour water on any chance of a return to Stamford by saying:

…I don’t know that there’s anybody there currently that I haven’t wrestled that I would be interested in wrestling.”

Before adding:

… on the WWE side of things, let’s be honest, there’s baggage, right? There’s stuff that’s gotta be worked through. So I don’t know how you get there. I don’t. I really don’t.”

Should CM Punk Come Back?

Though this will no doubt have fans scurrying to their keyboards to lose their minds. The thought of “The Best in the World” not ruling out a return to the sport. Even though Punk grew so spectacularly tired of everything in his final days with the WWE. I’m not one of them anymore.

Like my erstwhile editor, Sam, said when I said that he’d been kind of hinting at a return:

I’m tired of Punk saying he’s coming back. Just wrestle in Chicago with Warrior Wrestling and be done with it.”

It’s time for Punk to either piss or get off the pot.

Besides, the only member of the Brooks Family we should really want to see back is AJ Lee, right?

Do you want CM Punk or AJ Lee for that matter to come back to wrestling? Where and why? Tell us below in comments.
