Bracket Revealed for Knockouts Tag Team Championship

Who will be crowned as the Tag-Team Champions?

Off the heels of a stellar, Turning Point, Impact Wrestling has revealed the brackets for the Knockouts Tag Team Championship tournament. The Championships are set to return at Hard To Kill, in January 2021 as initially announced at Bound For Glory.

Impact Wrestling have revealed that the first round of qualifying match will include the following teams:

Tenille Dashwood and Alisha vs Havok and Neveah

This one is quite interesting as we only found out last night that Tenille and Alisha will be joining forces. Tenille ‘tagged’ with Alisha last night and Turning Point with Jordynne Grace but as we witnesses, Grace would have been better off alone. Tenille was an awful partner and was too occupied with getting the perfect lighting for a picture of herself at ringside. Later in the night Tenille and Alisha were backstage together and realises that they had a common ‘enemy’ in Jordynne Grace and decided to pair up. I can’t predict that Tenille and Alisha are going to go anywhere in this tournament as Tennille’s self -importance syndrome will inevitably get in the way.

Havok and Neveah

Havok and Neveah have proved that they gel well together as a duo and are a viable threat to every participating team in this Championship tournament.

Killer Kelly and Renee Michelle

This is interesting, Killer Kelly will be making her Impact Wrestling debut in this tournament. Kelly departed form NXT UK earlier in the year and I for one could nor be happier to see her mixing things up in Impact Wrestling. The same goes for Renee Michelle who had made a number of appearance on WWE TV alongside husband, the formerly known, Rockstar Spud. Michelle’s return to Impact Wrestling is just as exciting as Killer Kelly’s arrival. These women may be the dark horses of this tournament.

Keep your eyes on these two.

Jordynne Grace and TBA

As mentioned above in relation to Tenille, Grace cannot trust the Aussie. Grace has yet to find a partner and I’m very intrigued to see how that may be.

Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz

Hogan and Steelz are yet another well-oiled team that have the potential to make it to the finals at Hard To Kill.

Sea Stars

Sea Stars are the team of Delmi Exo and Ashley Vox who are well known from Shimmer Wrestling and are the promotions current Tag-Team Champions. Sea Stars are looking to now dominate Impact Wrestling. This appearance is going to be great to witness.

Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee

If you ask me, not the strongest team in this tournament but it would be very interesting to see the current Knockouts Champion become one half of the Knockouts Tag-Team Champions along with Kimber Lee. Do you think The Virtuosa is destined for double-gold?

Taya and Rosemary

Tay and Rosemary are a shoo-in when it comes to who the new the Knockouts Tag-Team Champions will be. This duo have an incredible track record within the Tag-Team division and are perhaps the most ‘odd-couple’ yet most dominate Tag-Team on this list, in my personal opinion.

Final Thoughts

Well, Impact Wrestling have upped their game once again. Not only are we getting a lot of familiar faces entering the tournament but we are also getting a number of debuts within the company, which is incredible! Which teams do you think will progress to the second round and do you already have a prediction as to who will be the final two teams? Let us know in the comments!
