The WWE Has Issued A Statement On Seth Rollins Attacker

The WWE has issued a statement on Seth Rollins’ attacker. For those of you that don’t know, during Monday Night RAW a ‘fan’ jumped the guard rail and dove onto Seth Rollins, blindsiding him and knocking him to the ground.

The person in question, 24-year-old Elisah Spencer, – who should in no way have his social media accounts filled with wrestling fans telling him to f*ck off – was grabbed in a chokehold by Rollins, before officials and agents ran out to drag him away. Seth suffered a cut lip in the altercation and though understandably irate, came back out after the cameras had gone off the air, according to those in attendance.

The WWE has had this to say on the incident;

WWE takes the safety of its performers very seriously. The individual who attacked Seth Rollins has been turned over to the NYPD and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

And good, because he bloody should be. As should the morons who high-fived him as he was led away but I don’t think they actually broke any law.

As should Chavo Guerrero, who had this to say on the subject;

This has gone down about as well as a dose of clap in a nunnery, with fans from all sides of the wrestling divide teaming up to point out that instead of poking fun at someone who has just been physically assaulted, perhaps he should show some compassion towards a fellow wrestler or – better still – keep his goddamn mouth shut in future.

There is no excuse for what any of these idiots have done, be they attacker, supporter, or washed-up star, and if any of you reading this are thinking of pulling the same stunt, may i suggest you try that crap on Brock Lesnar.

I’ve never seen a human head pop like a grape on live TV before.
