Survivor Series 2021 Predicitions

Welcome one and welcome all to the Survivor Series 2021 Predictions. That’s right folks, it’s that time of the year when RAW and Smackdown go head to head at the Survivor Series PPV, and we all sit down and watch the red brand kick 10 bales of hay out of its blue counterpart. As usual around these here parts, we’ve gotten together the greatest minds that SPOBS has to offer – and me – to predict what will happen this Sunday when the two shows collide.

So let’s get to it, shall we?

Survivor Series 2021 graphic for Big E. vs Roman Reigns

Raw vs. SmackDown (Men’s Survivor Series Elimination Match)

Jon Shartzer: The common train of thought is that Drew McIntyre will win this match for Team Smackdown and set himself back up for another chance at the Universal Championship. I’m fine with that. But this is your chance to Austin Theory shine, WWE. Don’t screw it up.
Winners: Team Smackdown

Stu Monroe: There’s too much firepower on Team RAW despite their differences; Rollins is the sole survivor.
Winners: Team RAW

Andrew Grevas: Sami Zayn has been removed from the match – Drew needs to be dominant here leading his team to victory. That’s the only booking decision that makes sense. The big question is how quickly does KO leave the match? If he’s leaving, they might start putting the boots to him now. Winners: Team Smackdown

Steve Swift: Drew and Lashley left, Drew wins to give him something, the crowd know it doesn’t matter.
Winners: Team Smackdown

Neil Gray: Vince gotta Vince and I’d be surprised if either RAW team lost their respective matches. Expect either Big Bob or Seth Rollins to be the one to pick up the win for Team RAW, possibly with only Drew being allowed to have any momentum and – perhaps – pick up a couple of eliminations.
Winners: Team RAW

Joel Kananen: Confusingly built and rebuilt teams have overshadowed a strong collection of competitors. Kevin Owens and his heel turn should be continued while the Smackdown faces look strong against a mostly bad guy team. To even out the wins between the brands, Smackdown should pick up this victory, led by Drew McIntyre and King Xavier Woods.
Winners; Team Smackdown

Raw vs. SmackDown (Women’s Survivor Series Elimination Match)

JS: The real story in this match is the feud between Shotzi and Sasha Banks. One of them will cause the other to get eliminated, possibly even the final fall. Rhea Ripley wins it for Team Raw.
Winners: Team RAW

SM: Team Smackdown wins thanks to the “TBA” member being Toni Storm. *Stu originally put Bayley, but I thought I’d change it to make him seem as if he has magical powers…what? I wasn’t supposed to say that bit out loud? Whoops, my bad*
Winners: Team Smackdown

AG: Team Raw needs this win. Rhea and Bianca need strong performances and, hopefully, Liv gets to shine too. The Blue Brand can afford an L here.
Winners: Team RAW

SS: Belair wins because she is the number three woman in the company, behind Lynch and Flair, sadly.
Winners: Team RAW

NG: Team Raw again for me here, but with the caveat that that is only because I fully expect them to use this so Liv Morgan can go over in a major way and go toe to toe with Banks and prove that she deserves her shot at the RAW’s Women Title. Which she does.
Winners: Team RAW

JK: The more exciting of the traditional series matches is headlined by the bubbling Sasha vs. Shotzi feud and the top contenders for the Raw Women Championship contenders Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan. Raw has more star power and more to gain with a victory.
Winners: Team RAW

Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair (Champion vs. Champion Match)

JS: This has to be Becky, right? While Charlotte has been reportedly going into business for herself, Becky has played the loyal soldier and stood up for company and, more importantly, the locker room. She should be rewarded for that with a victory over the Queen.
Winner: Becky Lynch

SM: A match of the year candidate, this one will get ugly. Becky wins this one with controversy.
Winner: Becky Lynch

AG: WWE’s attempt to create a shoot angle still feels kind of lame to me. Becky needs the win more so it should be her hand raised unless they’re stretching this out.
Winner: Becky Lynch

SS: DQ to save face.
No Contest: DQ/Double Count Out

NG: I’ll admit it – and the rest of SPOBS can confirm – I fell hook, line, and sinker for the real and not at all worked Sports Illustrated interview Lynch gave. I’m a mark, sue me. That doesn’t mean that I don’t expect a rip-roaring match or for Lynch to pick up the win. It just means that I’m an idiot.
Winner: Becky Lynch

JK: I believe that the backstage Becky and Charlotte heat is all a work, but even so these two champions have played this feud perfectly. Two Horsewomen facing off is always a must-watch in my book, and this is a strong Match Of The Night candidate.
Winner: Becky Lynch

Big E vs. Roman Reigns (Champion vs. Champion Match)

JS: I would say that this one is even more obvious than Becky over Charlotte. As much as WWE wants to pretend that they think Big E is a big deal – which he is – they aren’t going to let Roman lose here. There may be some shenanigans to prevent a clean finish, but Roman will be victorious.
Winner: Roman Reigns

SM: Sorry, E…you have to acknowledge the Tribal Chief. Roman wins, of course.
Winner: Roman Reigns

AG:  How I would book this and how WWE will book this are two completely different things. Me, I would have Big E pull out the surprise win to set up a title vs title match at Mania. WWE won’t. Reigns continues his run and gets ready for Brock at Mania.
Winner: Roman Reigns

SS: Reigns wins, he is all they have at the moment.
Winner: Roman Reigns

NG: This has got Lumberjack Lensar interference written all over it. No matter how much I might actually hate this kind of thing, I fully expect Lesnar to come out at some point and lay waste to The Usos who are interfering, distracting Reigns, and allowing Big E to pick up the win. This way, everybody is kept strong and nobody loses out. Except us.
Winner: Big E

JK: While the bigger and smarter match here is Bloodline vs. New Day, Roman and Big E will still put on a hard-hitting and fun affair. I sense some kind of swerve here, perhaps a returning Brock Lesnar? Big E winning would be way more beneficial, but I don’t see it happening.
Winner: Roman Reigns

RK-Bro vs. The Usos (Champion vs. Champion Match)

JS: If done right and given time, this match could be a sleeper for the Match Of The Night. All four of these dudes can go. However, The Bloodline rules all as far as WWE is concerned…Jimmy and Jey get the win.
Winners: The Usos

SM: The Usos win after Orton finally turns on Riddle, leading to craziness on Raw.
Winners: The Usos

AG: USO’s pick up the win and the seeds start getting planted for Orton vs Riddle at Mania next year.
Winners: The Usos

SS: Team RK-Bro as they need to mess with the top table a little.
Winners: RK-Bro

NG: RK-Bro is very possibly the hottest tag team in the WWE right now but The Usos are part of The Bloodline, the hottest faction in the company. It just so happens that they’ve been picking up losses here and there of late and they’re strong enough to take the pin. An RK-Bro win over The Usos will make everyone happy, so I fully expect that to happen. Unless Orton finally gets sick of Jason Mewes/Matt Riddle and RKO’s him into the middle of next month.
Winners: RK-Bro

JK: Either team could win this, but I think this is the Bloodline’s night.
Winners: The Usos

Damian Priest vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (Champion vs. Champion Match)

JS: I still don’t feel like Shinsuke is being used to his fullest ability, but I fear that may always be the case with him in the “E”. Damien Priest is the shiny new toy and WWE seems to really like him. I’m going with the United States Champion over the Intercontinental titleholder.
Winner: Damian Priest

SM: Shinsuke does the job and puts over Priest, who’s putting in serious hard work lately. Push continues for Priest.
Winner: Damian Priest

AG: Poor Nakamura. If there’s anyone on the WWE roster I want to see become All Elite, it’s him. Priest gets the win in a solid match.
Winner: Damian Priest

SS: Priest wins because why not smack Nakamura in the face again.
Winner: Damian Priest

NG: Damian Priest is going to squash Shinsuke Nakamura in about five minutes. And I will hate every second of it.
Winner: Damian Priest

JK: I hate to be the wins and losses don’t matter guy, but Shinsuke’s popularity allows him to take a loss here. Priest is a rising star and has been showing his dark and aggressive side lately. Priest should use his devilish streak for a strong and decisive victory.
Winner: Damian Priest
