Kenny Omega Returns To Impact Next Week

In a move that should come as no real surprise, Impact Wrestling has announced that AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, will be on their show next week. He appeared on the last episode alongside Don Callis. It helped the show become the highest-rated Impact Wrestling show of all time, so having him back is a no-brainer.

Impact Wrestling Announcement

Impact tweeted:

BREAKING: We have confirmed that @AEW World Champion @KennyOmegamanX and @TheDonCallis will return to IMPACT THIS TUESDAY at 8/7c on @AXSTV! #IMPACTonAXSTV.”

There’s no word on just what we’ll see The Cleaner coming up with, but as you’d expect, the rumors are flying thick and fast.

Swann vs Omega?

As the working relationship between the two companies steps up through the gears, the clever money is on a Champion vs. Champion bout between Omega and Rich Swann. This was alluded to after Rich Swann showed up for work, only to be told he couldn’t get through. This was due to Kenny Omega and Don Callis taking over the parking lot.

Swann was visibly pissed at this. So the idea that it would lead to a feud isn’t that much of a stretch of the imagination. After all, here comes the headline act of another promotion trying to take over your show. The show that you feel you have been carrying on your back for a long time now. That’s going to be enough to tick anybody off.

Personally, I hope this is the case as the two of them together can only bring magic. It also opens up endless possibilities of dream matches for The Best Bout Machine.

If Kenny Omega is going to play in Impact Wrestling’s playground then who do you want him to wrestle? Swann? Young? Callihan? Who would you want to go the other way? Go to AEW? The Good Brothers vs The Young Bucks? Let us know in the comments below.
