NFL Winners and Losers Catch-Up

Hey everyone, this is Sam with Sports Obsessive. NFL Football fans, we know you can’t watch every game and that sometimes you have to rely on stats and highlights to catch up. We want to make sure you turn to us for all your NFL analysis. Let Sports Obsessive get you completely up to date, starting with a look at the action from the fifteenth week of games…

NFL Winners

Can we start with anything else? FINALLY!!!!! THEY DID IT!!! The New York Jets stunned the Los Angeles Rams for their first win of the season.  Of course, this win cost the New York Jets the #1 draft pick which many thought they were purposefully losing games to get.

The Jacksonville Jaguars now hold the rights to the #1 draft pick right now after their 40-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Since we are talking the Ravens, we have to mention that WR Dez Bryant caught a touchdown pass for the first time in over three years.

The Buffalo Bills captured their first AFC East division title in 25 years (I’m sure NBC’s Tim Russert is upstairs celebrating)

Kansas City’s QB Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs to a three point victory in a thriller against the New Orleans Saints. Could this be the Super Bowl matchup for this season? Could we be watching another Mahomes vs Drew Brees classic?

Tampa Bay’s QB Tom Brady haunted Atlanta Falcons’ fans once again. His team was down 17-0 until he channeled his Super Bowl magic in a big comeback win over Atlanta.

This week, Derrick Henry had 24 carries for 147 yards against the Detroit Lions. He has 1,687 rushing yards with two games left. Only seven players have ever reached 2,000 yards.

NFL Losers

I never thought this team would be part of the loser section as long as Coach Bill Belchick was still coaching them. The New England Patriots were eliminated from the playoffs for the first time since 2008 after a loss to the Miami Dolphins.

2020 will be New England’s first non-winning season in 20 years. It is just the fourth non-winning season of Robert Kraft’s 27 seasons at the helm.

NFL Playoff Teams

The NFC #1 seed the Green Bay Packers (11-3) just kept winning to make sure no one thinks they can catch them. In the meantime, the Seattle Seahawks clinched their playoff spot with a win over Washington.

Now, the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, and Cleveland Browns continued to win, so they can stay in the picture for the playoffs.

Philadelphia QB Drama

Sports Obsessive was all over this controversy back on December 12th. The Eagles rookie QB Jalen Hurts threw four touchdowns in a loss to the Cardinals. The now upset backup QB Carson Wentz is ready to move on and get out of Philadelphia.
