Loris Karius Returning From Loan Early

In a move that should come as no surprise, but fill Liverpool fans hearts with dread, Loris Karius is returning from his loan spell at Besiktas early.

For the past few months, Karius has been complaining that he hasn’t been paid by the club, even though he has been their first choice keeper since his arrival 2018, and it seems that he’s finally decided enough is enough and has called time on his spell in Turkey.

He was farmed out on loan after a nightmarish performance against Real Madrid in the 2018 Champions League Final coincided with Liverpool splashing out a huge transfer fee on Alisson, who has since gone on to cement himself as Klopp’s #1.

What this all means for Karius is anyone’s guess, but until the transfer window opens and Liverpool can find a buyer, he will have to be content with being the third choice behind Adrian.
