It’s Time For The Masters…FINALLY

Augusta in November…Weird

Hey everyone, this is Sam with Sports Obsessive. Golf fans or even Masters fans, we know you can’t always know every score or up and comer that is making a run, and we’re here to help. We want to make sure you turn to us for all your golf analysis. Let Sports Obsessive get you completely up to date, starting with a look at the first tee off…

For those of you that just want the answer to the question…Do I bet Tiger Woods at the Masters or the field? My view is take. the. FIELD.

The other big question is about the pink azaleas and whether they are going to be out. The answer is NO. As Axios Sports stated, “Augusta is designed to look beautiful in April, when its famous pink azaleas and white dogwoods are in full bloom. This year’s fall foliage will provide a much different backdrop: less pink, more burnt orange.”

The Masters is Underway

It Is A Tradition Unlike Any Other…

The 84th edition of The Masters has finally arrived in Augusta, Georgia. I know it is a weird time to have it. I mean it is November and supposed to be football season, but here comes the beautiful Masters. It is golf’s premier event and it is hard for me to believe it is taking place this late in the year. There are a total of 92 golfers entered to try to show off their skills of the legend of Augusta National. Of course, only one can put on the green jacket at the end.

Different Storylines This Year

I’m sure that Tiger Woods is loving this first one. He enjoys the silence of Augusta National as he is walking his round. One of this tournament’s known qualities is the silence. It is called the “Augusta Silence” and most golfers describe it as eerie, but ALL want the “Augusta Roar.” They talk of the adrenaline rush they get from it. However, you won’t hear the roar. There will be no patrons in 2020 due to the global pandemic. How are golfers to know when a golfer that is chasing them has hit a great shot? A ticket to the 2020 Masters Tournament or 2020 Augusta National Women’s Amateur is required to be bought at the  online Masters store.

Bryson DeChambeau

Bryson DeChambeau is the favorite this week to win his green jacket. It is said that this year’s Masters will be playing longer because of the November conditions of the course. Players who can hit the long ball will have a huge advantage. Well, DeChambeau has been crushing it all year with a 344 yards average. As always, though, you are still going to have to putt well to finish it off.

Tiger Woods—Will He Defend His Title?

Tiger Woods is a long shot to repeat, even though he is the best ever. He’s 44 years old, but we all know better than to count Tiger out of the Masters. He is 100% at making the cut. Can you imagine 20 straight years of making the cut at the Masters? Tiger Woods is 80% at making it in the top 20 and 65% at finishing in the top 10. The even more amazing stat is that he is 60% towards being in the top 5. Just unbelievable. He is the best of all time when it comes to the Masters.

The Updated Odds
