NFL Football fans, we know you can’t watch every game and that sometimes you have to rely on stats and highlights to catch up. We want to make sure you turn to us for all your NFL analysis. Let Sports Obsessive get you completely up to date, starting with a look at the action from the sixth week of games…

Undefeated Teams

Three teams remain undefeated after Week 6: The Pittsburgh Steelers at 5-0 and Tennessee Titans at 6-0 were Sunday winners. Then there’s the Seattle Seahawks at 5-0, who were on a bye this weekend. Will the Miami Dolphins be popping their champagne this year to celebrate another season where teams won’t break their undefeated record?

NFL Top Performers as of Week Six

QB Matt Ryan (Atlanta ): 371 yards, 4 TDs
QB Ryan Tannehill (Tennessee ): 364 yards, 4 TDs
RB Derrick Henry (Tennessee ): 212 yards, 2 TDs
RB D’Andre Swift (Detroit ): 116 yards, 2 TDs
RB Ronald Jones II (Tampa Bay ): 113 yards, 2 TDs
WR Justin Jefferson (Minnesota ): 166 yards, 2 TDs
TE: George Kittle (San Francisco ): 109 yards, 1 TD

Tom Brady Beats Aaron Rodgers

In what was supposed to be a battle of elite quarterbacks, the Buccaneers defence stole the show. The Bucs defence held the Packers to only 10 points, while Tom Brady and the Bucs’ offence erupted for 38 points. The Tom Brady-Aaron Rodgers matchup wasn’t even close by the end, the final score being 38-10. Green Bay jumped out to a 10-0 lead, but a pair of rare interceptions by Rodgers led to a pair of TDs by Brady. This put Tampa Bay up 28-10 by halftime. Tom Brady (17/27, 166 yards, 2 TDs) won the battle on an off-day for Aaron Rodgers (16/35, 160 yards, 2 INTs).

The Colts Comeback

Indy improved their win-loss record to 4-2 with a 17-point comeback against the Cincinnati Bengals for a score of 31-27. The Colts were down 24-7 in the first quarter. QB Philip Rivers threw for 371 yards and 3 TDs in the comeback.

Steelers Destroy Browns

The Pittsburgh Steelers, as mentioned above, are 5-0. They had this game circled after last year’s Myles Garrett helmet-punch. Pittsburgh embarrassed Cleveland 38-7 by intercepting Baker Mayfield twice.

Titans Stay Perfect

In a Sunday shootout, the Tennessee Titans outlasted the Houston Texans 42-36 in Overtime. QB Ryan Tannehill (30-for-41, 364 yards, 4 TDs), with another heavy dose of RB Derrick Henry (212 yards, 2 TDs), made a huge difference. Henry scored the game-winning TD in Overtime.

The Lowly Jets

After the Falcons (1-5) and Giants (1-5) got their first wins of the season, the New York Jets are now the only winless team 0-6 in the NFL. They lost to the Dolphins 24-0 on Sunday in another lifeless performance. Do you think they’ll get a win this season?

San Francisco Happy This Week With Jimmy G

Jimmy Garoppolo improved his win-loss record to 4-0 against the Rams and has yet to lose consecutive games in his career.  He played well in the first half, helping the 49ers to a 21-6 half-time lead over the Rams. Jimmy G was benched last week against the Miami Dolphins. The signal-caller completed 23-of-33 passes for 268 yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions. I think he is still having major issues with his high ankle sprain suffered earlier this season and no one wants to talk about it.
