How About Some Swapping?

There were a two big swaps that happened this weekend. The Green Bay Packers swapped the New Orleans Saints for #1 seed. Well, the Buffalo Bills did the same thing by knocking off the Pittsburgh Steelers the top of AFC. This was a season long climb for the Bills and a huge accomplishment.

NFL Winners

Derrick Henry rushed for 215 yards and two touchdowns in the Tennessee Titans win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

With a win on Sunday, the Green Bay Packers were crowned NFC North champions once again as Aaron Rodgers continues to make his MVP case by scoring three touchdowns.

The craziness in the NFC just continues. In his first NFL start, QB Jalen Hurts led the Philadelphia Eagles to an upset win over the New Orleans Saints. Both the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Football Team also picked up wins on Sunday while the Giants lost.

Chicago Bears picked up a win against the Texans while the Vikings fell to the Bucs as Dan Bailey missed four kicks.

The Chiefs offense got it together following a slow start. They cruised to a win over the Dolphins.

NFL Losers

Another week, another loss. The New York Jets are still searching for their first win of the season, this time losing to the Seattle Seahawks, 40-3. Is there going to be a change made somewhere, somehow?

The Indianapolis Colts offense erupted by scoring 44 points in their win over the Las Vegas Raiders, who fired their defensive coordinator after the loss.

How many times can get it happen? The Atlanta Falcons had another meltdown. They lost to the Chargers.

Did We Have the NFL Game of the Year?

The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Cleveland Browns 47-42 in unforgettable Monday Night Classic. How can anyone think that the Pittsburgh Steelers might run away with the AFC North now? Remember when they were undefeated? I think the Browns and the Ravens after that game might have a little bit to say now.

I can’t say enough about the two quarterbacks, Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield. They delivered a show and a half for the television audience and some fans in the stands on a cold Cleveland night.

QB Comparison

L. Jackson (BAL): 287 total yards with 3 TDs
B. Mayfield (CLE): 366 total yards with 3 TDs

Both teams combined for nine rushing touchdowns out of 12 total touchdowns among six different players.

Instant Classic

This game was tied 7-7 after 22 minutes. It was mid-second quarter when the barn doors opened up. They started trading touchdowns until Baltimore exploded in the third quarter to take a 34-20 lead. Cleveland mounted a comeback to take the lead by one point 35-34. Then both teams combined for 27 points in the final seven minutes of the game. It was a no flipping channels or bathroom breaks ending.

The Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker drilled a 55-yard field goal with two seconds left to take the lead 45-42. A safety was added late. An instant classic.
